Judith Messina
Vice President/Secretary
Judith Messina, former senior reporter for Crain’s New York Business and a former senior visiting fellow in small business and entrepreneurship for the Center for an Urban Future, has long experience writing about technology, finance and healthcare. Now a freelance journalist, her work has appeared online at NBC.com, CNBC.com, and RIABiz.com and in numerous publications, including Modern Health Care, Business Insurance, Workforce, Investment News, Advertising Age, The Real Deal and Health Monitor Network magazines. She has won several journalism awards and also has experience in banking as a former operations manager for Citibank, providing her with firsthand knowledge and insight into business and finance. Ms. Messina joined JCCA’s Board of Trustees in 2001. She received her MBA in accounting and finance from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s in journalism from Columbia University.
